The message is "you will die alone". That is the message. Any sort of large-scale crisis such as a pandemic automatically exposes the "merits" of libertarianism. The private sector can't and won't deal with the fallout because there is simply no profit in it. They'd rather someone else did it, which is what happens when there is a government. Which part of the POTUS FORCED a private company to produce life-saving ventilators in order to save people do you not understand? If the poor are left to their own devices during such a crisis they will not only die in droves, but they will also mutate the virus so that the vaccines which the rich hoard will be useless. Man is a social animal. It survives only in groups. The larger, the better. And the purpose of the group is to be greater than the individual. Whoever fails to understand this does not understand how human civilization became possible in the first place.
