Democracy is hard. I have to apologize on behalf of my ancestors for making everyone's life difficult like that. I've often wondered how sane it is to give free speech to people whose goal is to take away free speech from everyone else. But then who's to say who is fascist and who isn't? Many of them are wise enough to hide behind the veil of patriotism. They usually won't wave swastikas in your face. Start pointing fingers and sooner or later someone will point at you.

The one thing I know for sure is that people cannot be allowed to have an "opinion" on matters of science, unless they're scientists themselves and then only if any given matter is part of their expertise.
